Inspired by owl’s house london

John Locke’s model of the human mind suggested that ideas associate withone another and that a string in the mind can be struck by a resonant idea. Therefore, inspiration was a somewhat random but wholly natural association of ideas and sudden unison of thought. Additionally, Lockean psychology suggested that a natural sense or quality of mind allowed persons to see unity in perceptions and to discern differences in groups. This “fancy” and “wit,” as they were later called, were both natural and developed faculties that could account for greater or lesser insight and inspiration in poets and painters.
Whether it be Fancy or Wit

We only half remember that evergreens were once an object of worship.
When nights are long and the land lies sleeping we long have loved
continuing the ancient custom of brightening the house with festive greenery.
It makes no matter, fine needled or broad leaved, the season transforms these
hardy plants into something wonderful.
A living proof in winter that nature has not abandoned the earth.
Wreaths, garlands, clumped on the mantle, arching the doors, scenting the house.
Green, forever reminding us of the timeless cycle of love.
Redwood, pine, fir, eucalyptus, laurel, rhododendron, holly, it makes no difference.
A short walk, crisp air and sharp shears.
Cut with reverence.
